"The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. "Great location very near to the Christmas markets and upmarket shops and restaurants. Parking was not included and was expensive (40 euro a day), it took some time to find a space we could park in though it was a busy time. Hotel has a spa / pool in the basement which was viewable from street level if someone made the effort to. "It is in a pretty setting, the village is beautiful, the location is not the easiest with one bus trip per hour but the service was spectacular! Our only regret was that there was a problem with the hot water for the showers a few of the days. But the customer service and breakfast and dinner buffets helped us to forget any inconveniences we experienced. I would love to go back and stay on vacation. "

"Overall, my stay was good. My room and the common areas were rather chilly, probably owing to the loss of natural gas from Russia, but the situation did not cause any concern for me. My room and the common areas were clean, but the elevators could use some cleaning. The breakfast buffet provides a good selection. The property is within walking distance of the Hamburg Hbf and a U-Bahn station, making driving unnecessary."
