"Another lovely stay at this beautiful hotel in the heart of historic Lincoln. A short walk from both the Castle and Cathedral. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. However, we had a delicious afternoon tea and breakfast in the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. A wonderful stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the city. "

"Staff were professional and friendly Hotel was beautiful and full of character. It is about to be undergoing renovations as needing some old in some areas.. mostly on the outside of building. Breakfast was wonderful, the toaster worked perfectly! The waitress was sunny bright and helpful. The spa facilities were just what we needed although some young lads were behaving like 8year olds splashing water at each other and anyone in the vicinity. The spa staff was very apologetic and intervened several times. The low score for the eco friendliness is due to the fact is showers left permanently on in the spa area. All in all an excellent stay and we will stay again."
