"Self check in seems like more hassle than worth especially as staff on hand to help/do. Would have been far smoother to have a normal check in desk. Not like I got paid to work for them and do the job. Slave labour... Room ok, mid range fair. No glasses for bathroom. No towel rail either! And worst, advertising bedside charger so only brought a usb but turned out no bedside socket of any sort. Bed comfortable. Room seemed quite enough. Bar prices reasonable. Advertising cocktails, yet dont have any cocktails on a n early spring, yet busy, Saturday. Lots of lager, just one Pale Ale, no proper beer. A good place to watch sports as lots of large TV. Do download the app and get 5% off. The new user 25% off doesn't seem to work. (two of party tried, neither worked)"

"Massively convenient if the reason for your stay is needing to visit Loughborough university. And although it is on campus, you feel separate to the students and the hotel area seemed very quiet. Reception area lovely (as were the complimentary cookies on reception). Room great. Appreciate the small fridge which was well used. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom fine, though bath surround looked slightly dated, and some people may prefer a walk-in shower rather than a shower over bath. I’m guessing not all rooms have a bath in the en-suite though. Overall the stay was great."

"A red brick building in the centre of Nottingham opposite the Victoria Centre, the Hilton is ideally located for shopping and dining. The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is excellent in terms of quality, choice and quantity and all staff encountered were friendly and helpful. "

"One of the cheapest hotels in Notts but the quality for the price is unmatched. Very fair prices, great location and very friendly staff. Staff aren’t afraid to go out of their way to help you during your stay if you require a phone charger or anything just enquire with them at the front desk. For the oldest hotel in Nottingham it’s pretty good inside, air con works amazing, TVs are great and the bathroom despite not being 100% spotless was still very nice. Room had a mini fridge, bath towels and even a bath robe which was very cool. Recommend for anyone on a budget that wants a good stay for a fair price (bargain price) or even if you have cash then enjoy the best room they offer which is the one I stayed in. "

"Loved room, bathroom, public areas, staff, food, ambience, level of luxury. Not so keen on - long walk from lift to room, no lighting in parts of carpark - this made it very dangerous. "

"Really good location. Friendly and helpful staff. It was clean, the bed was comfy. The tv comes with a chromecast so you can cast your phone which helps. Nespresso pods and twinings tea in the room. Such a ideal location. Right oppositie ncp car park which was tenna for 24hrs. Very convenient. Town centre is on your doorstep, aswell as the castle, plenty of restaurants, a convenient tesco across the way, for any bits. The room looked dated with the worn tables, tv stand and side table. They had scratches and made me feel like i was in a dorm room. Also not keen on a steel sink in the bathroom. Gives it a public bathroom feel - but of course that is my personal preference and was expected for the price we paid. "
