"Right when we walked in the cabin was neat and put together quite well. There were plenty of cooking supplies to get us along for the short weekend we were there. The Lodge was so nice. It was so clean and neat. The floors were heated when you took your boots off at the door, making for a warm place to freshen up with a nice warm shower. I went early in the morning and no one else was showering at the same time as me which made my mornings feel slow and peaceful. We all really enjoyed our stay and we even got to see a fox! "

"The views at Karen & Eddie’s home are astounding!! Sunsets galore. Extremely clean and well kept home and 5 acre property. High end finishes and furniture abound. The kitchen is stocked beyond measure. Gas grill. Decks in front and back. Hot tub with mountain lake & sunset views. Karen and Eddy take impeccable care of their home and made sure that we were happy with our stay.and had all that we needed. They even came and mowed several times during our stay. If you are thinking of staying here for a month or more, do not hesitate!!"

"Beautiful setting with lots of room between the cabins gave the place a nice feeling of solitude. The people there were also very nice. The cabin was nicely equipped and the bed was comfortable. If I had one complaint it would be that the cabin needs more windows that opened with screens…more air flow would have helped. overall, though, I would highly recommend it."

"I've loved the sweet little cabin I stayed in with my dog. Loved having a fully equipped kitchen after motel stays elsewhere. The staff and owners were welcoming and accommodating when I needed to prolong my stay. The place is imbued with the history of a late 1800's mining town while being close to hikes out of the Steamboat Lake Visitor Center. Awesome landscapes and mountains. Highly recommend."

"This was a great overflow option as the place we normally stay (The Outpost) for our annual snowmobile trip was booked. The rustic cabins were just that and worked great for what we needed. The shower house & restrooms were very clean and nice. Great experience and we'll be back again!"
