"Beautiful outside space, seating, bbq and vista from terrace complete the inside area, which is very well thought out and conceived. Suited us very well and hosts were very helpful with information and tips to help us maximise our enjoyment but not at all intrusive. Bonus to watch the bald eagles nesting on the island and seals playing in the waters in front of their deck. Hope to be back as really enjoyed Quadra and this space to stay in. Thanks Michelle."

"Great property. Designed very well. Host was easy to communicate with. Everything was in working order and well thought out for our comforts. We felt it would be nice if there was a curtain in the washroom for a little more privacy. We would definitely come back again. "

"A paradise in the woods. A cozy, quiet cabin. Charming hosts. Beautiful friendly dogs. Close to water with a beautiful view. A canoe. A well equipped kitchen. Internet access. The only problem is the pull out bed which is extremely uncomfortable. "

"Very comfortable stay for 2 couples. Mama bear and 3 cubs wandered through the property early one morning for a photo opportunity! First evening a deer was grazing in the backyard. A great Canadian experience for our Australian guests."

"You could not ask for anyone better than the owners of this property. The suite is clean and well equipped, and there is access to a beautiful garden. The property is conveniently located just around the corner from the Comox valley regional Hospital. I highly recommend this as a place to stay."

"We had a wonderful time being hosted by Shannon at the Heather Cottage. Tucked away in a quiet location right on a wetland, it’s a great escape from the day to day. The cottage is cute and cozy, with everything you need for your getaway. We loved the fresh farm eggs, and the ambience. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. "Everything was absolutely as advertised and more. The suite was extremely clean, the bed was really comfortable and the property was exceptionally quiet. Very short walk to an amazing beach with lots of cool parks and other beaches around. 12/10 would recommend staying here, we will definitely be returning."
