"While our stay started out with bad weather, we made the best of things putting together some awesome puzzles she had. When the power went out at night for a bit, we enjoyed the glow in the dark counter tops!! lol. The location of this home is fantastic! We were able to explore points both north and south of the house. We walked the beach below as far as we could and back. Great long walk. Saw many ships out at sea I the shipping lanes right from the comfort of the kitchen table. She had plenty of pans and utencils for cooking and the house is well stocked with beach chairs, coolers, and some snorkel gear. The house was clean and there were plenty of towels for showering which is great for a little longer stay. The a/c units worked great even though we didn't need them often at all. The Island Farm isn't far and we were able to find just about everything we needed there. Fresh bread and sweet rolls on Tuesdays and Fridays had us going back for more! Gas and groceries, fresh fish, and great gift shop Norma's in Governor's Harbour....not to mention a super fun Friday night Fish Fry. "

"This was our second stay on the property and will stay again in the future. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach and the house is perfectly set up for two people. The beach is largely private. Host communicates very well and property is clean and well cared for. Access to washer and dryer is also very nice."

"Our 4 night stay was okay but could have been much better with a bit more attention to both the house itself and to the communication.Upon arrival, the power was out. We’re familiar with power outages on island but without WiFi and sketchy cell service in the area, we had to drive 20 minutes down the road to inquire about the outage. We learned from the host- we never did get a response from the property manager- that there was a scheduled power outage that day and power would be back on in a few hours. Would have been good to know this before we arrived.The dishwasher was not working, there was a sign posted for this. The temp in the refrigerator was only ‘freezing’. The was broken as well and we couldn’t adjust it. Learned that overnight when we found frozen milk, fruit, juice, etc the next morning. We started our first day by throwing out about 30 worth of frozen food that should not have been frozen.On the bedroom windows, there are no curtains, only shears, providing no room darkening/ privacy, especially from the vehicle lights on the main highway.There were very limited bath towels and washcloths,which we could have resolved but there was no laundry soap.The AC worked well, the house was spacious and the view was as pictured . This house is right on the main road so traffic could be noisy at times.A few more bath towels, a better working fridge and a bit more communication would have made this a better stay.For the price, there should have been more value."

"Words can not describe how fantastic Villa de Palma was for our family! The setting makes you feel like the only people on earth. We had the ocean as our backdrop: sunbathing poolside, snorkeling at the coral reef and having the most beautiful pink tinted sand to walk on morning and night. Bonus for us was the full moon the night before we had to return home. If there were any negatives- they weren’t due to any fault of the owners. Being on the ocean means tides wash up quite a bit of plastic debris. It is disheartening how much is located over the entire island. Total disclosure- each building has 2 full bedrooms. The main house has a queen size fold out sofa, the cottage has 2 single fold outs both in the common rooms. We had originally reserved just the main house & pool house but had 5 adult family units. A quick message to the owner got us access to the cottage with minimal effort and reasonable cost. Our concierge Maria was also quick to respond to all of our questions and minor concerns. We all have memories for a lifetime!"

"Pristine private beach, ready access to calm seas, and a perfectly complementing plunge pool. Our group of 7 left only to pick up the famed cinnamon buns and assorted groceries at Island Farm. Beautiful sunsets, but beware the no-see-ums in the early morning hours and at dusk. "
