"Although not particularly close to restaurants the location worked really well for us. The accommodation we were in (1bed family/sleep6) was slightly smaller than the ones in the photos but ideal for 2 adults and 2 teenagers prepared to use a bunk bed in a room that was not technically a bedroom, probably due to it’s size, but worked well for us. There was a really good ski hire shop next door that was happy to keep changing boots until we found the right ones. There is a free bus from the...

"Having read some reviews I expected this to be more run down than it was. It was actually very good for the money. Linen was provided free of charge, as were cleaning items for the flat and enough plates, cutlery and kitchen items, which some reviews had said were either extra or not available, but I believe towels were extra (we bought our own). "Lovely, quiet, tons of space. Cows grazing in the backyard which we watched from the deck. Be aware there are no restaurants so get groceries before to cook in the full kitchen. Luckily we found a food truck"

"On est partie un week-end en février. A la base nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour la piscine.. après une longue journée de ski rien de mieux que de relaxer dans une piscine chaude.. sauf que cette piscine n'est justement pas chaude a notre grand surprise.. et en plus elle n'ouvre pas le samedi.. grosse blague"

"A very handy location and a well maintained property. Location is a 5 min walk to the slopes and nearby restaurants and shops. We rented a 6 person room for 2 adults. This worked well as it meant we had 2 bathrooms, though it meant we had more to clean before we left. The living space was very generous. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. "

"Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "We had a great stay. Property was clean and we found it was a high quality apartment with amazing views to the mountains. It was exactly as described with regard to the ski in-ski out description - there were two lifts within a 25 m walk of chalet A. The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi are great and are kept to a high standard, with amazing views through glass walls to the mountains. "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. La pièce de vie est spacieuse et offre une vue magnifique. La cuisine est très bien équipée, et la terrasse est particulièrement agréable. Seul petit bémol : l’agencement du logement en deux parties et le bruit des tuyauteries, mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés d’apprécier pleinement notre séjour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! "Had a fantastic long weekend at Du Park Hotel, we stayed in one of the Junior Suites with a jacuzzi bath in the room. We also had 2 balconies with great views. The hotel is located a short walk from the town centre and the ski lifts. The staff are fantastic and nothing is any trouble. Would recommend and will be in the list to return too. "

A Perfect Honeymoon Stay

"We stayed at Hotel Alvanche in Sauze D’Oulx for our honeymoon, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a lovely balcony offering stunning views. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great variety of food to suit all tastes. It set us up perfectly for a day of skiing. The hotel’s heated boot room was an excellent feature, ensuring our skis and boots were dry and ready to go every morning. The location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the Clotes chairlift, making it incredibly convenient for getting onto the slopes quickly. We had an unforgettable week skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvanche. It was the perfect base for our honeymoon, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Sauze D’Oulx."
