"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"The stay was everything we needed. Quiet and tranquil. The owners were very helpful and despite living at the end of the drive they were never intrusive. You are far enough from the tourism hot spots to enjoy bars and beers, easy dining, but also retreat to a little slice of heaven. We spent the week cycling along the excellent routes through beautiful villages and vines, along rivers and experiencing nature at first hand. If castles are your thing you will be spoiled for choice.We would return...

We loved that we were a little outside of the city but close enough to hop in our rental car and visit the Sunday market and shops. It was our favorite home rental during our stay in France. The owner was gracious and helpful with any questions we had. If we ever get back to Amboise, we will be staying here again!"

This property is very charming, and well-suited for two couples or two friends, as it has two bedrooms with ensuite baths at either end of a renovated home for privacy. Do take note that the stairs are steep! ( But this IS Europe!) There are delightful touches throughout. Elisabeth is charming and very accommodating. I recommend it without hesitation."

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car.
