"Location choisie pour fêter les 30 ans de ma soeur avec les amis et la famille. Maison très spacieuse, agréable et très bien équipée au niveau de la cuisine. Environnement extérieur sympa avec plein d'activités possibles pour tous, nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse avec le court d'eau très reposant. La grande salle de réception était très appréciable. "Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"This is an excellent property that is situated in the countryside with quaint little towns around it. It is close to the chateaus and the hosts were fantastic. Very clean and a safe place to stay. It was a cold evening when we arrived and they had a fire going for us when we got there. The windows have blackout blinds so sleeping is great. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. "

"We checked a very cool box by starting in this adorable troglodyte apartment. The property manager was accommodating and offered great communication, going out of her way to meet us outside so we knew exactly where to go. This is a unique apartment with beautiful views! We would definitely do this again! Highly recommend!"

"Owner exhibited no interest in our stay. Too busy with film crew even to help out with power cut. Not even in country on arrival. I had to contact local Marie to obtain his phone number to point out he hadn't sent us any info on where the cottage was. Even then the inadequate info sent us the day before we left for France sent us to the wrong "WHITE GATES" (not even visible from road). No welcome pack, just a note in kitchen warning us of £250 Euro fine if we didn't do the washing up on...

"We loved staying in this older and totally renovated home near Amboise and Chateau Chenonceau. It is a lovely home that is part of a renovated compound surrounded by grape vinyeards near the adorable town of Franceuil. The house is perfect with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a lovely well-appointed and renoovated kitchen and living room complete with a small but upscale gas wall fireplace for colder nights. The home has everything you need for a fantastic get-away including a lovely swimming pool...
