Deerhaven Lane House is a stylish vacation rental home with 2 acres of landscaped gardens and surrounding woodland, nestled at the end of a private road. It features a new chef’s kitchen, in ground pool, deck with outdoor grill and all the modern comforts needed to enjoy your stay in beautiful Hudson Valley whatever the season.

This bi-level ranch style house features an upper floor with a stylish open plan living and dining room, with a wood burning fireplace, cathedral ceilings, newly renovated gourmet kitchen with walk-in pantry and closet. It is airy and sunlit with a wall of sliding glass doors leading to a large deck with a grill and views of backyard with pool, forest, and the majestic Blue Mountains beyond.

A hallway leads to three large bedrooms, the master has a king with en suite bathroom, first guest room has a queen, second guest room has a queen, and there is a guest bathroom.

The lower level is a recently renovated family den with plenty of seating to watch movies, read or enjoy a game of foosball. There is a wood burning stove and powder room with laundry. There is also a double bed, tucked into a nook, which can be used to sleep 2 more guests. The lower deck takes you to the sloped landscaped backyard which is perfect for kids and pets as it is fully fenced with a swing set, swimming pool and large Springfree trampoline. The garage is the games' room with full size pool table, table tennis and a craft table with an easel and plenty of art materials if you want to take a break from the sun and is perfect for rainy days. We also have an electric BMW for toddlers and an electric go cart for older kids. So much fun! The house has central air/heat and ample parking is available on the private driveway.

The pool is open during summer months from early May to Labor Day. Guests cover pool heat charges and an official meter reading will be sent at the end of the stay. It is best if guests avoid having the heater on all day at the highest setting as it can be expensive. Use of pool cover over night helps retain heat.

Family retreat
My wife, son and myself truly enjoyed a quiet and restful getaway. The property is beautiful and perfect for a family. The pool was a big favorite obviously. But they're were also games and toys for my son to enjoy. The property manager was clear and concise in her communications and provided all the necessary information up front, but also responded quickly to any questions we had. A great stay that had my family asking when we could return before we even left!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this lovely, well equipped home. It was very family friendly. It had sufficient activities for two children and an infant, and was well suited to our preferences for privacy in the beautiful nature that surrounded us. PEACEFUL RETREAT!
My husband, son, dog and I travel to the Catskills a few times a year and this is by far one of the best homes we have stayed in. Sylvia was very nice and responsive to questions. The house is GORGEOUS! Very clean, looks newly renovated and beautifully decorated. The King bed (the only one we used) felt like sleeping in a hotel bed. The location is entirely private and the only noise you can hear are peepers and owls at night and the deer trotting through the woods (coming from the NYC suburbs, we are always looking for a peaceful getaway and this did not disappoint). The pool was very clean and the fenced-in yard was a huge bonus for our dog. The game room/garage was awesome! It rained our last day and we spent it inside playing ping pong and pool while our son loved the motorized toddler car. The deck upstairs gives gorgeous views of the woods surrounding the house. I could go on... it was much better than expected and we are grateful to Sylvia and her family for sharing their home with us.

Relaxing weekend in the catskills
We are regular visitors to the Saugerties and Woodstock area and this was definitely our favorite house so far! The pool was amazing and the house felt cozy, welcoming and was great for children. There were so many great things about the house, from the beautifully decorated rooms to the amazing activities they had for the kids. The kitchen was also amazing and allowed us to cook great meals! The hosts were extremely attentive to all of our needs, if you are looking for a great place to stay with family and friends, we highly recommend this house!

Beautiful attention to detail!
The owners of this property thought of everything. Pool floats for adults and even a toddler, a fun trampoline and swing set, well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, beautiful fresh smelling towels and linens, and wonderful games and books. We had a really nice 3 day mid-week stay at this amazing house in Saugerties. Lots of good stuff! Pool was very relaxing :-) Outdoor area on the deck with the grill was perfect! There's even stuff we saved for next time, like the trampoline, the billiard table, table games. A really nice getaway!

WONDERFUL WEEKEND
Beautiful immaculate home in a serene setting. Plenty of room for Benny to run around in huge fenced in yard surrounded by woods. Sylvia is a great host. Very attentive, and had a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us. Coming back for a whole week this summer so that we can enjoy the private pool.

Idyllic and just an hour and a half from NYC
This place was great from the open and airy home, to the beautiful outdoors, and all the appointments. The host was meticulous about everything (in a good way). One of the special touches was the way she made us feel very much at home, by sharing the “good glasses and plates” and leaving games, toys and crafts for us to enjoy.

Great family weekend
The house fulfilled its promise and provided everything we rented it for. Not only is it beautifully designed it is also comfortable and welcoming. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool and had a fun relaxing time for the duration of our stay. There are an endless amount of things to do for all age groups. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Saugerties home. Sylvia is attentive & easy to communicate with. The house is spacious and well stocked & offers plenty to keep the kids busy. It comfortably slept the 7 of us. The pool & trampoline were definitely a bonus. The house is conveniently located to nice restaurants & charming towns. Kaaterskill Falls was an enjoyable hike for all skill levels. Would highly recommend.
