"Close to transport and shopping. Neat and clean. Owner was fine but don’t book through Hotels.com. Had an issue and they washed their hands of the problem. This would be nice to stay for 2 people, but really was unsuitable for 4 adults. "

"Very good room. Modern and functional, small but didn't feel cramped. The hotel even had a sento (traditional public bath), which was nice. The hotel is located close to many of Kurashiki's attractions, but is ~15 minute walk from Kurashiki station which was slightly inconvenient with luggage, but not a major issue. Had a bizzare interaction with one particular staff member during check-in who was extremely rude and condescending for seemingly no reason. Did not encounter him again during my short stay and ultimately had no effect and I ended up having a wonderful stay regardless. It was just a very strange experience..."
