"I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the property was and the friendliness of the staff. My mother is disabled and because our room had too many stairs to get to (upstairs was about 20 steps, then another 20 steps to get to the beds in the room), the owner allowed us to stay in a second room on the ground floor at no extra cost! "A lovely quiet place to stay. Accessibility was good for a full time wheelchair user, the only thing missing was a seat/chair in the shower. The owner was friendly, but we arrived fairly late so had to phone him to come to check us in."

"Restaurant for the evening was very elegant and the food was very good although on the pricier side. Breakfast was very basic compared to other places we have stayed at. There seemed to be a mistake made as we did not get the room we had booked and finally agreed to take an apartment that they had. The shower was so small that you hit the walls when washing and nowhere to put your soap or shampoo except the floor. No places to put your toiletries. The grounds were beautiful and clean.
