"We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. A very special place, very special people, and surely one of the one of the loveliest hotels in the area."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, very well equipped and with a great view across to the village. It also has a fantastic pool but unfortunately the weather was poor so only used it a couple of times. It's on the edge of a pretty village with 2 restaurants and a shop. "Had a wonderful week here in Perigord Vert. We enjoyed the local scenery, villages and attractions. Cathy was a wonderful host - thank you for the lovely food gifts and the beekeeping lesson! So interesting. Would recommend to larger groups and families - everything perfect and lots of space and lots of bathrooms and showers!"

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but could not fix it. It did not get fixed the entire week we were there. You are in the countryside in an old house so mobile data signal was patchy to non-existent within the property. This can be frustrating when planning days out (or when you have teenagers.) We had a lovely holiday and visited some gorgeous locations in the region. The property was private and clean."
