This one of a kind villa offers breathtaking 200-degree wrap-around views of the Pacific Ocean and picturesque hillsides surrounding Playa Ocotal. The massive infinity-edge pool wraps around a section of the home, giving your group plenty of space to enjoy the Costa Rican sunshine!

This home is perched high in the hills of Playa Ocotal. You are just a 5-minute drive to Playa Ocotal, Playa Pez Vela and another 10-minutes to downtown of Playas del Coco. Playa Ocotal is a sleepy town known for its beautiful beach and Father Rooster restaurant. Guests should also check out Soluna Beach Bistro at the Bahia Pez Vela resort. In Playas del Coco you'll find several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Playa Ocotal and Playas del Coco.

Guanacaste International Airport (LIR) is a 40-minute drive from the home. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Enjoy the plethora of restaurants and activities in the area, then retire to the peace and tranquility of this beautiful vacation home.

"Portas Novas" impresses with its stunning exterior spaces, including an expansive terrace and a massive pool that provides the perfect backdrop for enjoying Costa Rica's warm climate and mesmerizing sunsets. The terrace features a barbecue grill, a conversation area, and an outdoor dining space with seating for eight, making it perfect for al fresco dining and socializing. There is also an on-site private gym is equipped with free weights, a treadmill, an elliptical machine, and yoga mats. Guests can also request on-site yoga, meditation, and fitness instruction for a personalized wellness experience.

The main villa boasts an open layout that seamlessly integrates the kitchen, dining, and living areas, creating an inviting space ideal for entertaining and gatherings. The living space is perfect sharing vacation moments, which the second floor has a large den with TV for relaxing. Modern in design, this villa includes five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, ensuring ample space and privacy for all guests. The grand primary suite features ocean views, a walk-in closet, and a luxurious bathroom with soaker tub. Additionally, three spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and terrace, are located within the main villa. A separate casita offers an exclusive retreat away from the main house and includes a master suite, complete with a full bathroom, private terrace with Jacuzzi.

NOTES:
- The large pool at the home is approximately 5' deep with a tanning shelf that wraps around the infinity-edge.
- In-stay cleaning is included in your stay, and there is the option to add fresh-made breakfasts to your stay (inquire about $$$). There is a caretaker that lives on the grounds in a separate apartment near the main gate of the villa. The caretaker is available for any maintenance or questions during your stay but does not have access to the home during your booking.

VARIABLE PRICING - While this home sleeps 12, the pricing starts for groups of 8.  This variable pricing structure allows groups of all sizes to enjoy the home.  Please be sure to enter your accurate group size for proper pricing.

TRANSPORTATION - We HIGHLY recommend that guests have a rental car for their stay, which we can assist with!  The home is perched high in the hills of the Ocotal and is not accessible on foot or golf cart. We do not recommend this home without a rental car or private driver as we do not have Uber or Lyft here and taxis will often not drive to the home.
