Start with the beautiful king bed and matching dark wooden furniture in the bedroom, with silver-colored handles. The other bedroom has a queen bed, and both are painted in two-tone pastels. The living room and dining room also have dark wooden furniture, plus faux-leather seating, with TV. The fully equipped black-and-white kitchen has quartz countertops and a bar that seats four.
The unorthodox artwork includes beach décor, a depiction of a vintage motorcycle and a map made of postage stamps.
This unit has everything you’d expect in a luxury condo, including fast Wi-Fi. And you’re on the third floor, so there’s a bird’s-eye of the beautiful area all around.

This condo has a view of the pool, and like all units here it’s air-conditioned and has a washer/dryer. It’s a short walk from here to the restaurants, bars and shops of downtown Playas del Coco, and it’s about eight blocks to the beach.

Pet-friendly policy
We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:
Pacifico is the premier resort community in Playas del Coco, with over 300 luxury condominiums, elegant swimming pools and marvelous views. This securely gated development has private walking trails, hot tubs, aquarobics, an on-site fitness center, pickleball and tennis courts. A “lazy river” swimming pool meanders in curves through the middle of the complex, with a poolside restaurant and bar.
In addition, the Pacifico Beach Club offers the finest beachfront dining, lounging and swimming in town, with two sparkling infinity pools overlooking a grassy space with sunbathing lounges and shaded cabanas. Pacifico is right next to the upscale Auto Mercado grocery store and within walking distance of multiple restaurants, bars and shops on Coco’s vibrant main street. There is no better home base from which to explore this hopping boom town.
This big town/little city on Costa Rica’s Gold Coast has it all, starting with a gorgeous, blue-green bay dotted with fishing boats, dive boats and sailboats offering sunset tours.
In front of the popular beach is a winding promenade with a basketball court and skate park, and the area is rich in hotels, restaurants, bars and stores catering to every need.
Known for its vibrant nightlife as much as its chill pace, Playas del Coco claims to have been the first beach town in Guanacaste reachable by road. Its proximity to the Liberia airport is a plus, and it’s even closer to the nearby beach towns of Ocotal and Hermosa.
On weekend nights on the main drag, live music and DJ beats pour out of the popular Zi Lounge and Coconutz restaurants (among others).
Coco is home to an upscale Auto Mercado grocery store, the exclusive Pacifico resort community and much more. Many foreigners have come to visit and never left. You can often find these happily aging expats swapping tales at the big rubber tree in front of Bambú Beach Front Bar, or just watching the world go by from one of the open-air bars downtown.
Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.
We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.
Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.
Other Things to Note:
Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. Before your stay begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
Some construction — and a discount
Please be advised that Pacifico is currently undergoing an expansion involving the construction of new ocean-view condos. Crews will be working 10 days straight, with three days of rest, until completion of the first two buildings in February 2025. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption to guests, but in consideration of this construction project, Special Places is offering a 10% discount on all Pacifico properties until it’s over. This discount is already reflected in the price listed for this unit.
