"We received a very warm welcome at the hotel and the reception staff were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay if you visit Pokhara. Of course, its position overlooking the Annapurna range gives it an enviable advantage, but we only stayed for one night when it was mostly cloudy although we did enjoy some glimpses of the mountains. Despite not really seeing the mountains, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this excellent hotel. "

"I stayed at a KGH The Maya Manor boutique in Kathmandu. Thought I’d give the Himalayan a try. Was not disappointed. Absolutely OUTSTANDING in every respect!! The room for clean and tidy, Guest services were outstanding… The views of the Annapurna range are beyond compare! The spa is incredibly affordable and relaxing! Great fitness center . All in all an outstanding stay and would go again!"

Only downside (as with all properties along the lake) is that there is a fair amount of noise from singing, people, funfair etc that may delay your sleep. "We stayed here for a day coming back from Poonhill and it was one of best experience we had in Sarangkot. View from deluxe room was spectacular with mountain view from one side and city view from other. And we watched sunrise from our bed itsellf and wow what a great time it was with red sun and mountains on the side. Also it is few minutes from Sarangkot view tower where we went for some for experience of city view. Breakfast was very nice and we also had dinner and had one of best Chicken...

"I stayed at Hotel Kunja for 5 nights. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was always great! I enjoyed each morning looking over the bustle of the main road and beautiful Lake Phewa in the distance. If you like the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. I liked the breakfast staff who were always pleasant and attentive. The front desk staff were also helpful. I didn’t feel well for a few days and the staff were thoughtful and considerate. Thanks"

"It was very poorly maintained. The yurt was falling apart, the vegetation was not maintained and there was rotten trees and leaves everywhere. When it rained the stone stairs became slippery due to all the leaves, plus all the trail lamps didn’t work , glad we had headlamps.
