"Our family of 2 adults 2 kids and dog loved our stay at Kangarutha cottage in Kalaru. The cottage is well maintained and fully equipped with everything you will need. Kids loved riding their bikes and playing tennis on the tennis court. The beds were comfy and the location is peaceful and quiet. Gorgeous gardens and lots of wildlife. Great location 5 mins drive to Tathra, 15 mins to Bega. We look forward to staying again."

"Quiet and relaxing location with 5 mins walk to the beach. The property was well-equipped (including a laundry room and a washing machine). It could be better if one of the bathrooms had been renovated with modern amenities. Overall speaking, we had a pleasant 3 night stay. Thanks!. "

"Firstly the cottage is nicely furnished and décor is lovely and its roomy and bright. Bed is comfy and overall the cottage itself has a nice ambience. On the down side the outside needs attention. This place allows pets yet there is a very large area where you drive in which is dirt and muddy this is not a good idea when staying here with a dog as you can imagine. Constantly had to wipe the floor and clean the dogs feet before he entered the cottage. Needs to be gravelled or concreted or...

"Great accomodation. Boat in front yard was a bit of a let down made the place look less attractive. Driveway down the side was narrow but just fitted our boat. If the house next door had people living in it it would have been hard as we could leave our boat and car up middle driveway and with the owners old boat in front yard we wouldn’t have been able to park there either. Overall good accommodation though"

"Monaro cottage is a lovely house with beautiful views of the garden and mountains. It is a very short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. A few modest purchases would really help. The kitchen bin is a waste paper basket, please get a proper bin! There is no mop and with a wet dog and wooden floors a mop would be useful. A few cloths for cleaning surfaces would also help- we prefer to keep the place clean but usually simple cleaning materials are provided. Also, the TVs are really...

"Great location, opposite lagoon, walk along the boardwalk to the ocean. True to advertising. Really enjoyed our time. Only things to be aware of that the veranda doesn't have a banister and there isn't any front fencing. The backyard is fully fenced and secure, however the front and rear doors do not open directly into yard, only an issue if you have a pet. A couple of issues with cleaning, the oven and the BBQ weren't clean. The vacuum cleaner was held together with duct tape which fell apart....
