I particularly enjoyed watching the birds through the kitchen window each morning.Great location, just around the corner from the Main Street. "Our family of 2 adults 2 kids and dog loved our stay at Kangarutha cottage in Kalaru. The cottage is well maintained and fully equipped with everything you will need. Kids loved riding their bikes and playing tennis on the tennis court. The beds were comfy and the location is peaceful and quiet. Gorgeous gardens and lots of wildlife. Great location 5 mins drive to Tathra, 15 mins to Bega. We look forward to staying again."

"Firstly the cottage is nicely furnished and décor is lovely and its roomy and bright. Bed is comfy and overall the cottage itself has a nice ambience. On the down side the outside needs attention. This place allows pets yet there is a very large area where you drive in which is dirt and muddy this is not a good idea when staying here with a dog as you can imagine. Constantly had to wipe the floor and clean the dogs feet before he entered the cottage. Needs to be gravelled or concreted or...

"Monaro cottage is a lovely house with beautiful views of the garden and mountains. It is a very short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. A few modest purchases would really help. The kitchen bin is a waste paper basket, please get a proper bin! There is no mop and with a wet dog and wooden floors a mop would be useful. "Great location, opposite lagoon, walk along the boardwalk to the ocean. True to advertising. Really enjoyed our time. Only things to be aware of that the veranda doesn't have a banister and there isn't any front fencing. The backyard is fully fenced and secure, however the front and rear doors do not open directly into yard, only an issue if you have a pet. A couple of issues with cleaning, the oven and the BBQ weren't clean. The vacuum cleaner was held together with duct tape which fell apart....

"We met Robert and Zita upon arrival and they couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The villa unit is extremely well setup, clean, comfortable, with fabulous ocean views and we were lulled to sleep by the waves every night. The unit is on a hilltop and very close to Eden Wharf. There were a lot of culinary goodies left for us to enjoy and a Nespresso coffee machine and the whole unit was very modern. We had a wonderful break in a gorgeous part of NSW. "
