"The property for our needs was a little too isolated, a car is a necessity and you need to Make sure you have all groceries etc with you to avoid the dive down the very steep mountain . The accommodation is very rustic and unfortunately extremely hot making sleeping very uncomfortable, no fans or air conditioning. Keeping the windows open was not an option as there were so many hornets about at the time of our visit . However the beautiful outdoor pool and Garden area are amazing and my grandson...

Jammer genoeg was het weer wat wisselvallig (we weten dat we dit kunnen verwachten in de bergen) waardoor we het zwembad slechts 2 van de 6 dagen hebben kunnen gebruiken aangezien dit niet verwarmd is. "We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Podere Consani despite the weather not always being cooperative during our stay. The location was very quiet and had beautiful views. It was only a 12 to15 min. drive to the centre of Lucca. Susan was prompt at communication and was attentive to any needs we had on our visit. We enjoyed being able to see the olives being harvested.
