"I had a great time at the Dom Henrique. I got an upgrade upon checking in, which was nice, and I was also pleasantly surprised to be tended to by a lady at the front desk who spoke perfect French. The hotel is conveniently located, a short walk to a central metro station and to old town (and about 20 minutes to the river). Unlike the rest of the neighborhood, the hotel is a tower that has 17 stories and a rooftop with a great view but obviously, not everyone will like its "brutalist" style. The only small complaint I'd have is that I stayed on the fourth floor and could hear traffic noise (which was not too heavy fortunately). I wish the windows would have been thicker. Overall, a great stay!"
