"Beautifully renovated Route 66 motel. Kept the mood, with Mexican tile shower, saltillo floor tile, mid-century cowboy print barkcloth shower curtain and shades, cowboy tchotchkes, but with lots of hot water, hand shower, split for quiet temperature control, comfortable bedding and mattress. Original footprint, so the room was small, but efficiently laid out. Immaculately clean. There was live music in the bar, but quiet and peaceful in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast, with do-it-yourself waffles, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, oatmeal, and good coffee. By report, cocktails were delicious and glittery."
