"The place was so amazing, with its majestic views and amenities. The drive up to this please on it own its an adventure, be sure to get a 4x4 vehicle, And use a loca gps app (i recomend Waze). Google maps send us up a wrong hill and caused us to get stuck in the mud. Likely the property managers came to our aid and got us out of the pickle, thanks very much Hugo and family. "For our second week in Costa Rica, we chose this home in Atenas. The photos do not do it justice- it is such a wonderful and relaxing retreat. The private pool and outdoor shower allowed a connection no nature. Hammock and hanging chairs, lush landscaping, toucans…. Just too much to mention. We will return to this special place. Lizz did massages on the breezeway our last day to the sound of rain and the birds. Communication was excellent."

"Check in was great as the host had someone meet us to show us around. From there we felt our privacy (gated property) and relaxation in the beautiful landscaping by pool or patios in the mornings and after a busy day of touring. It was a great location with traditional restaurants within a few miles and a small market on the corner for easy groceries/ snacks. We even one night walked to the corner bar and had a drink:). The kitchen could use some care in organization and supplies but after all,...

"What a great getaway! My husband and I really enjoyed the beautiful view and comfort of the house. The kitchen was fully appointed (salad spinner! wax paper!) so I was able to prepare meals with ease. Our dogs had fun in the spacious yard, but the smaller one figured out that she could squeeze through the front gate so we had to keep her tethered. The property managers were extremely prompt and responsive. Great vacation house!"

"A very comfortable home in a Costa Rican residential neighbourhood. There is a lovely view from the upper deck of the surronding area that is dotted with coffee plantations. The home had comfy beds and plenty of interior space. Felt safe and relaxed here. We would return again. Dana was very good at answering any of our questions and helping us during our stay."
