"The very kind hostess gave us great advice during our weeklong stay. The gite is fantastic - comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, and nicely equipped kitchen. Avernes is a lovely town, close to many other small villages and beautiful countryside, but also easy drive to Monet’s house and gardens and larger towns. The restaurant in town offers delicious food, and the butcher is well provisioned…both an easy walk from the gite. Highly recommended, Thanks Sandrine!"

"When I first made the reservation, I had actually booked for a different cottage on the property and the one that we got was booked by someone else. It was an absolute wonderful accident. The cottage is a one story with two bedrooms and fit our family of five perfectly. Even though it’s on the property and close to the road it’s surrounded by trees and it’s very quiet. The area the hotel is in is very loud but the windows were completely soundproof! Three windows too with a view.
