"Not your traditional hotel, no full time person at desk, no breakfast or anything such as that. Did see some coffee and hot chocolate packs, but that was all, but plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Hotel was clean, rooms on the small size. We got a King size room and was not a traditional size room. Overall it was great for us as we had an event nearby. 7-11 Across the street if you need to buy snack or drinks. "

"My wife surprised me with a lovely trip to this secret hideaway. Not only was it perfect for us.The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and more. Pierre and Patty's assistance and politeness gave us the most welcome stay ever. I literally told my wife when we woke up after the first night that I felt as if we were at a family members house. Such a cozy and pleasant environment. Patty welcomed us with a complimentary glass of white or red wine upon check-in....

"This property is exactly as advertised and Catherine is an incredible host! She helped me with recommendations that were the best experiences. I arrived in the evening and she turned the heat and the lights on ahead of my arrival. The casita is adorable and the bed is super comfy. The outdoor oasis is so warm and inviting. Quiet area within walking distance of so much. Loved every second! "

"My husband and I visited our granddaughter and didn't get as much time as we would have liked to stay in the area. Boy do we wish we did! This rental was amazing with everything you could possibly think of there waiting for you. I have never slept on a more comfortable mattress and that means so muchb when you're on vacation.John was great with instructions on getting access and even welcomed us with a bottle of wine! Can't recommend staying here enough...we will and next time we will stay...

Jennifer was super welcoming and available when needed. The casita itself was as described, perfect for my daughter and I. In and out privileges with gate code. Easy access to highway and shopping. "Marianne and Doug’s tiny home is simply lovely. Although it is a tiny home, it feels spacious as everything is so well thought out. It has everything you might need and more. Everything was clean and in like new condition both outside and in. Although we did not get a chance to meet Marianne or Doug, communication was always prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend their place to anyone looking for a great spot within walking distance of Encinitas town centre and the beach! "

"We had an good experience staying at this property. The property was very clean, exactly as described, and met our expectations. The neighborhood is walkable and is a quick drive to restaurants and shops. Jason provided a water bowl and a cushion for our dog, which was very thoughtful, and there is a small turf area for dog potty breaks. The owner was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for self-check-in and checkout, which made the process stress-free. I recommend this place...

"I had a short but great stay. The bed, including the pillows and sheets, were SO comfortable! I stayed on the East side but did not have any issues with the freeway noise. Light does get in around the curtains so maybe not the spot for those who need total darkness, but otherwise would definitely recommend. It was also nice to be close to many restaurants, coffee shops, etc."

"The hotel was beautiful. No complaints except the the breaker around the bed kept popping. They were very responsive and brought up maintenance and an electrician but after 4 hours it popped again. They were never able to fully resolve this during our 3 night stay but they did try. "
