"The host was amazing and couldn't have been more hospitable. The hotel was fairly quiet despite being near to bars. Pool was nice but got very little sun so not great for sunbathing. 2 beaches within 5 minute walk. Room was basic but clean."

"Beautiful area with views that cannot be beat. I loved waking up and sitting on the balcony first thing in the morning, looking over the beach and listening to the waves. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good water pressure, hot water in the shower. The staff were wonderful, easy to communicate with, and so nice. There are several restaurants within a few minutes walking distance that we enjoyed, and a supermarket up the hill for groceries. The main part of Santanyi was only 5-8 minutes...

"The hostal was perfectly located in Cala D’Or. The room was decent and clean, but the sheets and towels need an update since some of them were torn and had holes. We had everyday room service with new towels, paper and shower gel. Also upon check in we got beach towels and an umbrella to use during the stay for free which was a pleasant surprise. All in all we did like the stay at Hostal San Francisco and would recommend for the price."

"My stay at Hostal Talamanca was okay. The washroom had hair all over it so I am not giving full stars for cleanliness although it was overall - good for what you pay for. "Sometimes the room would be cleaned, sometimes not, the food always tasted different, so if you liked something one day you might not the next, plus the two of us got a severe stomach bug, as well as at least two other guests. I blame the food preparation. I cannot remember not enjoying a holiday as much as this one. Pay a little bit extra and stay elsewhere, do yourself a favour."

"Really liked the hotel. Pool is amazing ! very big and clean. We traveled with 2 kids aged 7 and 8 and we really liked the fact that the pool had the perfect depth where the kids could play freely without the fear of drowning. Also hotel is close to the main street where all the local shops and restaurants are however it was very quiet. Plus, the beach is only about 10 min walk. Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely return ."
