"Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean and nicely designed. Amenities were very good although we didn’t use any. Overall a very nice stay and close to vasco de Gama bridge. note to readers. Do not inadvertently put in 1 person in the room on your search and book it- I was with my wife and they wanted to charge us an extra 50€. The manager did reduce to 35€. Be careful when you book or find a hotel that doesn’t upcharge this way. "

"We really enjoyed the location, room and the staff. All excellent. The one area that could really improve is the breakfast beverage service. Having a station where people can serve their own drinks (coffee etc.) would really help. When it was busy the staff really struggled to get people served. "

"The hotel is charming. Our room was large, clean and comfortably appointed. It had a mini-frig which was very convenient. Breakfast is cooked to order as well as a nice cold breakfast buffet. Staff is very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions/recommendations when requested. The hotel is conveniently situated right inside the wall and a great price/value. We would definitely stay here again."

"Loved the wine and chocolate comp. Super breakfast, and starting at 7 was fantastic. Ggreat local out of the way restaurants open for lunch . The staff was super friendly and helpful. "

"Traveling with friends thru Portugal and stayed here 1 night. Perfect location for walking to Evora walled city; free parking; comfortable beds and rooms; delicious breakfast included; enjoyed indoor pool/sauna/steam room area in the early evening. Left a Samsung tablet by mistake and the hotel staff went above and beyond to secure it; they offered to help get it shipped to home but we decided to return and pick it up instead. Would definitely recommend this hotel!! "

"As we are driving, the Pousada was challenging to find. Once found, the front desk staff were amazing. Sorry to say, but the dinner meal was very overcooked & I couldn’t eat it."

"Honest description in the hotel review . Clean , reasonably priced and great location in Evora . Rooms are very small but efficient . Bedding is nice and shower is good . Blackout drapes , cool , quiet for sleeping . Super for walking Evora and lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby . Garage parking on site for 10€. "
