"We love Recanto. The staff was accommodating of our early check-in and a few other special requests. The food (especially breakfast!) was delicious. We loved all the different pool options and the morning fitness classes. Our only wish was that the whirlpools on the bottom level were a little hotter. We hired a guide for Las Cataratas through the hotel, and they were top notch. We would also highly recommend booking a treatment at the spa during your stay. It was the perfect way to unwind in the middle of a long trip. It felt like vacation on vacation! "

"We had wondered whether to stay in the Gran Melia on the Argentinian side, but when we saw that hotel in the flesh, it looked like a 70s concrete structure, whereas the Belmont just has style and class and a stunning wide angle view of the falls, so we were so glad that we chose the Belmont. We also wondered how easy it would be to get from the Argentinian side to the Brazilian side, but the reality was that every taxi driver seemed to offer the service and for us, it was a simple 50 minute drive across the border. Once there, the staff were so friendly and helpful and they also gave us a complimentary late check out, which was great for a late flight. The decor of the hotel had a colonial feel, with stylish bars and a lovely terrace for having an evening cocktail or two. Overall, a magical hotel and highly recommended "

The only thing I would like the facility to improve is the check-in/check-out process. Although the reception staff were very friendly, kind, and professional, the service was very slow. It was slow to the point that it was very stressful and made many customers complain at both check-in and checkout. I hope they fix this by adding more staff at the reception, especially during rush hours. it was an amazing stay. "
