"We loved our stay at Villa Margherita from beginning to end. The on-site caretaker, Natale, was as helpful and generous as the other reviews captured, without being intrusive in the slightest. We used the pool daily, walked down into town for pastries and shopping, and were even treated to a pasta-making class by Chef Nanni, who lives up the hill. And those views! You build your day around sunrise and sunset because you don't want to miss them."

"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"

"This property is ideal for a quiet break. the gardens and views are really remarkable. The area is so quiet. Its probably not so great with children as there are 200 steps to town or same to beach otherwise its taxis which cost a bit. Breakfast was great for the view, pehaps a little pricey for the content. Beers and wines from reception were great value. The nearby beaches are very crowded.The town of Catania is beautiful, less busy at night than daytime. The theatro is splendid. Would come...
