Stepping through the double French doors, you'll find Gulf views from the balcony of this cheery Caribbean corner condo. Inside, the home features smart furnishings, beautiful floors, and a full kitchen boasting stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and all the utensils you'll need to cook an extraordinary meal for your guests. Head down to the water for an afternoon playing in the surf then spray off the sand with the outdoor shower before kicking back with a good book and an iced tea out on the balcony.

Things to Know
This complex has ongoing construction. Internal stairs will not be accessible (please use external stairs). Balconies will be closed until 3/31/2025 (subject to change) due to construction. You will not be able to access the balconies. The daily timeframe will be from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday (possibly some Saturdays).
Tennis Courts will be down for 3 months starting January 1, 2025.
Elevator will be down through 3/1/2025.

Guests must travel by car to reach this condo.
A sofa bed provides an extra sleeping space.
Outlet covers are available to protect younger guests.
This is a non-smoking property.
No boats, trailers, RVs, or jet skis.

Fantastic view
Pro: View and amenities are Fantastic! Apartment spacious and roomy. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Private beach access and close to other beaches. Con: property and furniture shabby and outdated. Strong smell of mold that didn't go away.

Great Place to stay!
We have stayed at Gulf Place several times and this was a great unit. Balcony was larger than some we have had. It was well equipped and comfortable. Easy access to the beach and great view from our balcony!

Nice condo with great location- few items to note
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The 2 things that we encountered that weren’t so pleasant was the musty smell in the condo and the TVs. The one in the bedroom we couldn’t get working at all and the cable or service in the main living room was spotty at best. I know mustiness is hard to deal with in a constantly humid environment but it smelled like it was in the rug and the duct system.

Go a different route
Unfortunately this was the worst stay we have had at Gulf Place Caribbean, and we’ve rented several other times at this same complex. The condo was disappointing from the first open of the door. There was a musty smell that other renters have commented on but clearly was never fixed. The laundry closet door was off the hinges sitting in the hallway. There is another review from several years past and not on complaint had been addressed. The condo is very falsely advertised. The pictures are several years old. There are no granite counters, there kitchen cabinets are different colors from the bases, cracked and badly patched. The view is now obstructed by an enormous house. I could go and on about the state of the condo. I have several pictures but there no option to provide any. Condo aside, the one elevator in the complex was broken the entirety of our stay. No notice given ahead of our arrival. Definitely not the standard we’d grown accustomed to from Gulf Place Caribbean.

Fun beach getaway
This condo space was great for going to the beach. Easy walk from the condo. The space itself was nice and the beds were comfy. Some basic updates would have been appreciated. The shower head is pretty sad. Just the cheap standard one and it sprays funny. Hard to wash all the sand off so a better shower head would have been nice. Hair dryer broken. Our bathtub didn’t have a drain plug. It was just gone. I we had a toddler with us who needed baths so that was inconvenient (contacted guest service but they never responded). Door to laundry is broken. Just falls off its hinges if you try to open. ANTS! Ants allllll over the kitchen counters, it was really bad an unsanitary. You need an ant trap. Enjoyed our trip but maybe would stay in a different room in the building next time.

Expectation VS Reality
Vacation was great except the room. Pictures were deceiving. Upon arrival we noticed a musty smell which I actually contacted Vacasa on before I came. Saw a review of a musty smell from June 2022 on Vrbo and my son has asthma so I was worried about that. Never received a phone call back about that. The room was dirty. I spent my first night cleaning the bathroom and mopping/vacuuming floors. There was hair all over the shower, the clear shower curtain was so filthy I had them bring me a new one, floor around the toilet rusted out. The walls are filthy like things were spilled and never cleaned up. Moldy vents and hvac system very dusty which is probably where the smell was coming from. Carpet in the bedroom was dirty and sticky, big spot on the carpet. Not sure why that wasnt cleaned up before our arrival. Pictures on the walls crooked. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed but cabinets were dirty and painted different colors. Sink sprayer broke. I honestly could go on and on. I took lots of pictures but can’t post them here. Basically lots of things need updated but instead they have slapped on bandaids. Also if you have small children this is not the room for you, it’s on the fourth floor and there were no child locks on front or back door. I let Vacasa know that I was unhappy about paying so much money and having to spend my first night cleaning and was told they would get back to me on compensation but never heard back.

Quick Anniversary Trip
Loved the top floor location. Unit was was clean and well equipped. We have stayed many times at Gulf Place this will definitely be one we will rent again. Internet/Wifi wasn’t the best but we didn’t watch TV anyway. Love Gulf Place !!

Everything was clean on arrival. Didn’t have enough towels in the bath but called and the were brought quickly. Definitely had and issue with front door malfunctioning. Wouldn’t accept the code. Sink in the bathroom needs to be cleaned because it doesn’t drain. The view was awesome considering we’ve stayed at other units in this complex. Love the area and all the amenities.

Great view and location to the beach.
My husband and I stayed here for four days. It was plenty of room for the two of us. You could add two more in the bunkbeds easily. The beach was just across the street with a private entrance so the beach wasn't as crowded as the beach where the public parking is located. The view from the outside patio was wonderful as well. This condo is located on the top floor just above the pool and for this reason it could get quite loud if many people were using the pool or the hot tub. We were there when five families were visiting with young kids. There were many times we couldn't use the hot tub because the kids or these families were using it. The kitchen was great to have; lots of cooking utensils. There are no basic cooking items there such as salt, pepper, vegetable oil, sugar, etc so plan ahead and bring those if you are able. I highly recommend the Yolo bike rental place around the corner. We rented bikes for two days and they were great to have. Easy ride on the bike path to other beaches such as Grayton Beach State Park.

Perfect Getaway
Loved the small town feel of Santa Rosa. Quiet, relaxing, & safe. Everyone was so friendly. Renting beach cruisers is a must! The condo was perfect! Loved the large balcony looking out onto the ocean. Plenty of room for 4. Had everything you needed and more. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to the beach. Definitely would visit again!

Wonderful setup with a fantastic view

Long weekend
The unit had everything we needed for our long weekend. Great beach access as well as very nice pool and hot tub. Comfortable furniture and great view with large balcony. Would suggest a few more towels provided for bathroom (or bring your own extra for showering). Also - put any and all food in refrigerator, oven or microwave to store. Ants will appear rather quickly if anything left out even if well packaged. Location very convenient to several restaurants that you can walk to. There are also a few retail shops, a liquor store and a new convenience store that just opened in the complex. Would definitely book this unit again.

Family Friendly Location
This was our first stay in Santa Rosa Beach. The unit was in a great location with numerous eating destinations within walking distance. The beach was pristine, weather was great and crowds were just about the right size. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Place, Caribbean 405. Beautiful view, very comfortable and convenient. I have stayed at several of the Gulf Place units and always find them to be well equipped and pleasurable. Glad to have this unit as another "go to" when I am booking a stay in the area. Thank you.
