"This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

"This place is an underappreciated gem. It lies on the banks of the Rio San Carlos with 24 individual cabins. The rooms are very spacious and nicely appointed. While the pictures show the cabins overlooking the river only around four or five of them actually do that. I spent three nights here in August, 2018. "The house and grounds are beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous looking over the lake. Pool was fantastic. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Check in easy and there was even a welcome basket with fruit. Would stay again. The only thing people need to know is that it is 45 min to La Fortuna even though it looks closer on the map. This didn’t bother us but if you are expecting to just pop in and out of town you need to plan accordingly from a time perspective."

"Hidden gem for sure. House was beautiful and the property was stunning! We watched monkeys while drinking our morning coffee and there’s a beautiful cook shack to cook over the open fire. We also saw iguanas, squirrels and beautiful birds while walking around the property, looking at the waterfalls and river. Inside the house was just as beautiful. Rainfall shower head, beautiful wooden table and nice clean everything!!! "

"The bungalow were in was partially under a tree and ut rained constantly for 18 hours. The constant water falling off the tree onto the roof was so LOUD,it made it impossible to hear each other talk. Sleep was impossible!. We planned a 3 night stay, but had leave after the first night. The bungalow was poorly designed with very poor lighting."

Everything met our expectations and we loved having breakfast here! The front desk gave us recommendations for food and activities which we strongly appreciated! "På grund af vejens beskaffenhed nåede vi ikke op til hotellet. Det var en meget bumpet og til tider oversvømmet tilkørselsvej, så vores lokale chauffør nægtede at køre os. Vi valgte derfor at blive på “hovedvejen” og endte med at sove i Grecia, den nærmeste by. Alt endte således godt, fordi vi blev adopteret af en lokal. Hotellet kan kun anbefales til rejsende med en meget kraftig 4-hjulstrækker. "
