"Lovey eco lodge really working with the environment. Fabulous staff, couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely breakfasts, healthy locally sourced dinner buffet and tea and coffee all day long. Tours on offer were great too- we did the bird walk and saw so much that we would have missed! Rafting with Rios fabulous. Yes the rooms are a little basic but all in keeping with the ethos of the place. You will not be disappointed!"

"Large property - suffered from recent flooding when I was there. Saw a lot of interesting birds and other wild life on the property. The rooms were large - but the space was not well utilized. I had the impression that there was a lot of deferred maintenance that was overdue. Nonetheless, it was comfortable. The food was OK."

The food is made with love. There are monkeys, birds of every kind, frogs and his knowledge of these animals is very impressive. You will feel like you are part of his family. "Hidden down a dirt road awaits a rural escape. This was a great place to stay, comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. The location is only a 15 minute drive to La Fortuna and a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. Our Host responses were prompt and we highly recommend."
