"We had a wonderful time in Recco. The very well-kept house is located on a hill in the hinterland of Recco in a nicely landscaped property with a view of the sea. The apartment is very clean and comfortably furnished - the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. The large terrace in front of the house, equipped with an awning, invites you to linger. "Beautiful spot to stay and explore that part of Italy. Winding road to get there but worth it. Very comfortable furniture throughout and well maintained. We didn’t cook meals, but the kitchen was well stocked. Just telling friends that you stayed in a castle built in the 1400’s is worth it. "

There are incredible views from every window, birds are singing, and there is a cool waterfall nearby, where we bathed in the heat. And in the evening there was a summer coolness. "Great old home decorated well in the mountains of small town. Naps pool side under the veranda listening to the nature all around was a daily event. We had plans to go to Portifino but never made it. The property was a nice escape after being in very crowded cities. I would stay here again if I ever make it back to Italy.
