"I didn't actually stay at Casa Leonori because they upgraded me to a room at Hotel Cenacolo, their `sister' hotel that is adjacent. (This was an upgrade from 3 to 4 stars.) I didn't see the rooms at Casa Leonori but the room at Hotel Cenacolo was nice, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"David was a wonderful host. He provided excellent service and gave us lots of useful information regarding travel in Assisi. The room was cozy and the breakfast was delicious. The checkout process was smooth and we appreciated that David worked with our itinerary. "

"Pros: The location of the hotel is very quiet and convenient to the central train station, the public transportation hub and a McDonald’s restaurant. The hotel room itself was super clean, eco friendly, and modern. The staff are nice and speak English. Cons: No elevator. Difficult for the elderly and those with heavy luggage. "Villa Eleanora is in quite a lovely location convenient to many sites in Umbria. The facilities were very well taken care of and clean. The outdoor terrace and pool areas were really lovely. The inside could use a little updating especially the kitchen area. Also more lighting would help. All in all quite a nice experience. "

"We liked that it was located inbetween farm land and hills. What we didn't like was the stairs were well used to the point of almost being unsafe. But they are authentic for the time period when it was built."
