"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

"My family had a wonderful time when we stayed at this house. The house was beautiful, my children loved the porches with hammocks. The view of the volcano was excellent, and it was within a 20 minute drive from anything we wanted to see within the area.Our host recommended a tour organizer/guide who lived two houses down (Papa's place). He too was excellent, reasonable prices, excellent tour. His wife also cooks if notified in advance for small (or large) groups. "

"We had such an amazing time at this VRBO. It is such a beautiful home with amazing view and lush flora right out your window. The host was so amazing to work with. His communication was fast and great. The can opener needed replaced and he dropped one of the next day. He was very attentive to any need. I highly recommend this location. We loved the outdoor living area and beautiful pool. "

"Our family had a great time in La Fortuna! The check in process was straightforward and Karen was very responsive anytime we needed to contact her. We had a little issue with the safe and Karen arrived within the hour to give us the key and resolve the issue. "I hate to make a review like this but we had to leave early and find a new place. The “dog kennel” next door had barking day and night was unbearable. The exposed electrical wiring in the shower caused concern. The owner was very responsive but could not correct condition. The property was rated a 10 with 7 reviews when I booked. Not sure hire that could be possible."

"Great stay in a very spacious and clean home. Kitchen is basic, cooking on a camp stove, heat your water for dishwashing. The home was more than enough for one person.Important to shut the bathroom door or else you will smell sewer all the time. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by how this gem is tucked away behind the hotel. You are close-by to help if you need, but you are still far enough to get your full privacy. It’s quite a romantic hideaway. I’d say it suitable for a couple or a small family (due to the sleeping arrangements). The shower pressure is remarkable but the size of the shower is outstanding-biggest shower I’ve ever seen. "Lovely, tidy, private setting away from the busy town of Fortuna. Clean and quiet, with super helpful & responsive hosts that live on the property. 5-minute walk into town, or over to the market, or to Restaurante Harmony. Loads of birds to see every morning! Sweet little spot to visit. "

"Our family enjoyed our stay and found it peaceful. The host was really helpful and his instructions to find the place were perfect. It is about 20 minutes drive from Santa Elena and most attractions in the area. It was great being on a coffee farm as we had learnt about coffee production in Arenal before going to Monteverde. "The property was very clean! Anything questions we had were answered very quickly through WhatsApp. It was nice to know the owners are very attentive to your needs! It has everything we needed! It is about 10 minutes from town, but once you get used to the drive it gets easier. The road felt safe and no animals or critters came into the house (we were worried that might happen).
