"I absolutely loved the location of the cabin. The view from the terrace was mesmerizing, a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The lake was just a few steps away from our rooms. The rooms were equipped with AC's but one of the ACs wasn’t working, the kitchen was fully equipped, two full bathrooms but no towels, no wifi, no warm water. Communication with host could've been better as he sent instructions on how to access the property until the "day of" as I was on the phone with customer service....

"The location is great. 20 mins walk to the airport, 15-20 mins to Flores Island, plenty of food options nearby. Comfiest beds in all of South America. The only issue was a musky smell in the room, especially if you dared to open the drawers"

"The staff at the hotel were kind and accommodating. The front desk staff helped us several times with transportation - called a water taxi for us to explore other areas that weren’t accessible by tuk tuk or taxi, arranged transportation to Tikal, and to and from the airport. Beautiful views, great breakfast included with your stay, nice balconies attached to rooms, clean space. "

Terrific new hotel with outstanding service

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel with my family late August as a base to visit Tikal. The hotel was new, clean and very comfortable. Also enjoyed dinner at their on-site restaurant on a couple of occasions - we were impressed by the service and extra attention given to us by the staff - particularly by Sergio and Jose - thank you for being so nice to us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and will return when we visit Tikal and Guatemala again."
