"I'm a plane Spotter, so it was ideal for me, 30 minutes walk from Madeira airport, views over looking the airport, there is no heating or air conditioning in the bungalow, it's well equipped quite spacious, new like condition, considering how close it was to the runway aircraft noise wasn't much of a problem, not really any flights 9pm until 6 or 7am, From Neil "

"As the name implies, this was an excellent place to get to know Madeira. The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. The home itself was very clean and cozy with all the comforts needed. "We stayed for 10 days in the property as a base to explore Madeira. The property was perfect for all 5 of us, lots of space, well equipped and immaculate. Anna is the host and is the loveliest person. She had baked us xakes for our arrival and supplied us with extra beach towels when needed. She also provided basic food and fruit., lots of advice about the area including a local farmers market we would never have known about. We loved our stay and visited most of the island.
