"Wonderful find for a one night stay. Pros were the pool and pool area, close to. Lucca proper, clean and large room, and excellent air conditioning. Cons were that there was no breakfast even though they're listed as a B&B, no room safe and a shower that worked well. But even with these minor cons, I would totally stay again. Yes the rooms are older but no matter. The staff were excellent, bed was comfy and did I mention how much I loved the pool!? Thank you for a great stay. "

"We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. "The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."

It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."
