"Absolutely love staying here! Even the drive-in from the Liberia airport was beautiful and we saw so many monkeys along the way! You are very isolated in a little rustic log cabin that backs up to the national forest. There is one restaurant on site which actually had very good food and incredibly sweet service. The property is absolutely beautiful and perfect for somebody who is low maintenance, not looking for a lot of amenities, and just wants to enjoy nature and peace. Being a Being adjacent to rincón de la vieja and near La Leona waterfalls was very convenient. Absolutely would stay here again! "

"Exceptional location with a commanding view of the Costa Rican West Coast and Pacific Ocean. Stunning sunsets from the restaurant and bar at the top of the hill. Wonderful selection of activities in and around the property, with trips to the hot springs, horseback riding, water slide, cultural demos, etc. Only shortfalls might be road access (it is very rough) and lack of a store for snacks or other necessities. "We enjoyed our stay! It was comfortable, rustic and basic needs were met. Nothing fancy. Restaurant was yummy. Free breakfast was good typical Costa Rican food. Many activities available. Spa service, mud baths, horseback riding, rock climbing all available. Nice poolside bar."
