"What a lovely place this traditional Austrian guest house is. It still retains that charm that I love, with traditional Austrian decor and architecture. "Cute and quaint little hotel with a gorge walking trail, drive to Golling for restaurants. Has breakfast for additional charge. Very quiet/relaxing and has a sauna. "

"Anna was a superb host! It was my first time traveling internationally, and she made it a very welcoming stay with her warm demeanor. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and a guest mobility card is provided (different from summer card). I booked a double room which is small (I expected as such) but still very clean. Close to all the main transportation areas and walkable to downtown and Lake Zell. The view from my window was picturesque. Highly recommend!"

"Our only complaint was that one week here was not enough! We stayed for one week July/Aug 2024. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bread service is such a nice extra perk! The kids loved the waterpark. The area is full of too many things to do! The kitchen had all we needed to eat in as often as we wanted. I couldn’t complain about anything but having to leave. "

"Beautiful hotel complete with custom woodworks and excellent staff. The local area is a bit boring though so if your planning a very quiet weekend in the mountains, this is your spot. If your looking for a bit of a more lively environment I would look past the area. Beautiful hotel though. "

"This place is first rate, would absolutely stay again. It appears to be brand new, and everything was in impeccable, perfect condition. The owner was extremely friendly and accommodating - he dealt with our late check-in, invited us to a local event (New Year's Eve fireworks!), and allowed us a late checkout to help us deal with a complicated family situation. "My wife, my 15 months old son and I had a wonderful time in this hotel. It feels so serene, quiet and magical. The pool is amazing. The food at dinner and breakfast is fantastic. For breakfast you have a big selection at the buffet and also the possibility to order dishes at the table. It was our second time here and we will be coming again for sure. Thanks especially to the staff at breakfast and to the lady who came around serving the hot pan au chocolate this morning which went above and beyond to make our wishes come true. "

Great Base Hotel

"This is a perfect location for those wanting to have a base and venture out and about. The rooms are perfect with tea and coffee facilities for that cuppa when you just need a drink. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom/wet room is fantastic with toiletries provided. Breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold options. The hotel has a bar with a great selection and excellent prices. There is a sauna which is available to guests. Highly recommend 👌. "

"Incredibly beautiful hotel with high quality services, food and drink, and interior design. Sauna and spa are spacious and inviting. Walls in the rooms are a bit thin, so it’s a little too easy to hear the many ski vacationers’ conversations and music on the balcony next door, but other than that I highly recommend this place. Not even that expensive for everything you get. "
