"When we checked in we had been upgraded to a suite which was spacious and comfortable. Large bed, plenty of hot water and toiletries provided. Daily housekeeping. A nice swimming pool on the roof an ideal place to cool off after sightseeing. There was a good variety of English and Indian style foods for breakfast. "Any five-star review is fake. This was the worst "hotel" we stayed at in all of India. Do NOT believe the photos of the nice rooms - they don't exist. Only filthy, smokey rooms falling apart. No wifi, far from the city and completely fake advertisement. Stay far, far away from this establishment. "

"Hotel itself was fine, clean and in good condistion apart from a persistent smell from the bathroom. The service was good but the noise from within the hotel was horrendous and went on all night. One other odd element was a window in the room overlooking a communal seating area with only a ill fitting blind protecting your modesty. We only stayed 1 night otherwise would have reconsidered our options."

Comfortable sray

"This is a really comfortable hotel near to the Taj Mahal. The breakfast buffet was great and the pool outside was beautiful and relaxing. The view of the Taj Mahal is ok but spoit by the railway line you are better off going with the cheaper pool side rooms which are also quieter and away from traffic noise."

"Absolutely an incredible hotel at an amazing location, right in the heart of the city, just a stone throw-away from Taj Mahal! The restaurant and bar staff is just so competent, polite, and friendly! I have not seen a group of about 30-40 restaurant staff (servers, chefs, and cleaning folks) working so coherently, pleasantly, and with a broad simile at their faces, to give their guests a service that is so impeccable. They absolutely love their guests and make them feel so welcome! What an amazing staff! The dining area is so spacious, clean, and inviting. The property itself is very clean, bathrooms are superb, beds so cozy, clean and comfortable! We, a family of 4, came from New York and loved our stay. Thank you so much, Trident, Agra! "

Amazing! A must in Agra

"Another amazing stay at an oberoi property everything you could ever want from this 5 star chain. Service is impeccable the property is just stunning and seeing the Taj Mahal from every window is just breathtaking must add I LOVE the fact that the pool is heated! It meant we could actually use there stunning pool! "
