"This property was not only ideally located for visiting the Gorge, it was immaculate and extremely well stocked. It seemed as if the owners tried to supply everything their guests might need. We especially appreciated all the labels on the cabinets - both for finding things and for putting them back - and all the provided plug-ins for electronics. And the view was lovely. "My 83 year old mom is visiting. This is a perfect place. The vibe is cozy, safe, and super chill. The vaulted ceilings and skylights added to the "retreat" feel my mom kept commenting on. The bathroom is accessible with zero thresholds and plenty of support bars for my mom to feel secure. The listing is accurate, however, I think underrepresents what a wonderfully, sweet place this is. Better than expected in all the ways. Thank you, Diane, we will definitely be staying here again. "

"Suzanne made everything wonderful. We have never had a host take care of us like she did! The cottage was supplied with everything we needed and more, but if we had needed anything she would be right there. She has poured so much love and beauty into her place, comfortable in every way. We especially loved the stained glass. She has many repeat visitors, and we understand why."

The age of the property was apparent in the wavy floors and drafty windows, but provided heaters kept us toasty, and the cozy charm was enhanced by the periodic rumble of the passing trains nearby. My husband and I had to work while our daughter trained up the road at Timberline. The Wi-Fi and dining area allowed us to work remotely and we were about 20 minutes to Timberline.
