"Lovely little private and secluded cottage with pretty well maintained gardens, perfect for a few days away. Super clean and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. Great communication from owners, checkin and key access was a breeze. Bathroom was functional but is compact."

"The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"Beautiful views… The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The host Janet was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and completely respected our privacy. Awesome place to stay, with amazing walks just outside the door. We loved the waterfall which was a very short walk away… The track leading to the accommodation is covered in potholes which is the only downside. The views and the walks outweigh this minor inconvenience. We highly recommend…"

"Old apartment block but internal of the unit was alright. Good location, close to Sainsbury’s and a few restaurants, some better ones need to book in advance though. There were towels and games and WiFi was steady. However, kettle was black inside, no toilet rolls, some plastic cups with white marks and management company was closed after keys picking. "Great stay a woodbine cottage. It's a great location for all the shops and pubs, and some fabulous hiking from the door. Good sized accommodation for 4, but maybe tight for 6 as the bunk beds are very rickety and small, so maybe not advisable for small children."

I was abit disappointed that we weren't staying in the hall this time but as it turned out we still had the best time. We stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment and it was massive. "The Midland is a beautiful hotel in Morecambe overlooking Morecambe Bay. The hotel has lots of art deco features. The rooms are spacious and very tastefully decorated with lots of hidden items, the kettle and tea etc are to be found in a cupboard which blends in with the walls. The food was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast which had a brilliant choice. Full English or continental and yogurts and fruit etc . Everything was perfect. We will definitely return. "
