"1 week before our arrival we were told we were being moved from the Caprera we had booked to the lower grade Channel View Hotel nearby due to double-booking. However, we received no price reduction to reflect the lower grading. Disappointing, as looking at the web details for both hotels, there is a clear difference in quality (and that it without getting in to reviewing the Channel View Hotel, which is not relevant to this review)."

They were exceptionally clean, and the hosts left a lovely surprise gift for us upon our arrival. "My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you"
