"This was our first time to Orvieto. This property is at the top of a small mountain facing the village. Wonderful view, especially in the morning with the sun at low angle. "We had a wonderful time staying at Maria Rosa’s as a family of 6 with 4 kids 11 & younger. It was a great price & had everything we needed for a week long stay. "My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed in the Spade room and it was so cute. We loved the decorations and the look of the room. We were greeted with a friendly, smiling face when we arrived and immediately led to our room. The view on the property is gorgeous, and we loved the friendly cats that hang around outside! "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
