"It was a very unusual stopover for me in that I had a car accident less than 1km from the house after driving 1100km that day from northern France (beware Google maps satnav as it suggested I should turn around when I was on the right road, which effectively led to the accident). "Devo ammettere che non avevo la minima idea dell'esistenza di Gombola, un luogo magico, quasi mistico. Ho trascorso un weekend all'insegna della natura e della tranquillità più assoluta. L'ostello è pulitissimo e l'accoglienza è stata ottima. Ritornerò sicuramente, magari questa estate sperando di poter assistere anche agli spettacoli del gruppo teatrale che ha in gestione l'ostello. "We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."
