"A lovely new hotel in a stunning setting built to blend in with very imaginative architecture Our room was very comfortable with very good facilities The downside was that the bars had run out of tonic, our choice of wine was out of stock and even a large bottle of water was unavailable in the restaurant on the second night. This may seem nitpicking but it should not have happened The staff were all very attentive and the general facilities and pools first class"

"My third visit to Jardin Tecina revealed maintenance issues. The clothes hook on bathroom door about to fall off. The shower gel bottle did fall off. The room safe activation required a technician's visit because front desk couldn't explain how it worked. And, as before, the signs directing guests to their rooms are poor. Rooms are difficult to find. "

However the location is remote here, and there are few amenities, it states it is in San Sébastien but it is at least an hours walk from the town. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, its a stunning location but you do need a car definitely. "The hotel was very centrally located and a 10 minute walk from the ferry port. We had a modern room on the fourth floor with a large balcony. "The house is located is a peaceful part of La Gomera about 20 min walk from the centre. It's a lovely space to relax with an attractive garden and pool . "Wir haben zwei abwechslungsreiche Wochen in diesem herrlichen Barranco erlebt. Das Haus ist sehr schön ausgestattet und komfortabel, die überdachteTerrasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick in die Berge kann man bei jedem Wetter benutzen. Der Vermieter stellte uns zum Empfang schon den ersten Lebensmitteleinkauf bereit, was nach der langen Anreise und späten Ankunft sehr hilfreich war. Und es gab selbstgemachten Honig, Mangomarmelade und eigene Zitronen noch dazu, sehr aromatisch und eine nette Geste....

"It was safe it was quiet and with the small Supermarket across the road (not LIDL) it was perfect for groceries. The pool area was well kept and surrounding area kept very clean. The only negative was the noise by the workman erecting a new boundary fence on the first floor above the pool area. Overall I will be back."
