"Our host, Judy greeted us on her golf cart to show us to our cabin at check in and our daughters were thrilled to find fresh warm cookies and hot cocoa waiting for them on the table. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and the kayaks on the lake. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Judy even gave us a ride to the lake when we kayaked. (Even though it was just a short walk from our cabin). We will definitely stay at the property again! "

"I stayed at the lodge primarily for the dark skies and was not disappointed....the stars popped by 9pm and were beautiful. The main draws for the lodge are the mt bike lift and trails down the mountain and boat launching. Unfortunately the lake is too low there for any boating. The location is very peaceful so I enjoyed just sitting out and watching nature during the day and some hiking. The room was motel like and was spotless. Full kitchen. Checking in/out was easy and staff were very personable. Other than the biking there is not much else to do there but it makes a great get away otherwise. There is Long Horn Cavern and Inks Lake state park with great hiking trails about a 20 minute drive. This is not a luxury resort but for the price and quality of the accommodations it was really a nice stay."

"Conveniently located near Colorado Bend State Park on the Colorado River, this house easily acommodated our two families with room to spare. The only drawback was staying in February when it was too cold for the pool. Guess we'll have to plan a return trip..."

"Off the beaten path house that’s very nice. Has everything you need for a quiet peaceful stay without any drama or disturbances. The livestock on the surrounding ranch adds to the appeal. It was our second stay and it did not let me down. Close to town. Make sure to check out the Pecan Grille while here. "
