"We had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my birthday here. The property was clean and inviting. The view was amazing! The property manager, Piet, was courteous and informative! We went during the rainy season, but still had a great time. Daytime was warm & we enjoyed the pool and again, the VIEW! Would definitely recommend! "

"My family stayed at the property and had a wonderful time. Arturo and Maribel are the caretakers and are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. They keep the property in fantastic shape and are extremely helpful. I highly recommend hiring Maribel to do the cooking, as she is amazing!! The pool is great, the beach was just fine for swimming. "This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "You need to stay here. The villa has a beautiful yet casual Balinese style. The casita is spectacular for an extra couple. The views of the layers of mountain and the lighted up valley below at night are spectacular, whether you’re in/around the pool or on the casita back deck. "We stayed 4 nights at Villa Tamarindo and it did not disappoint. From the welcome email from Joe with directions, to Elias warm greeting and villa tour, to the bonus room for yoga/reading, this villa was amazing. We had 2 couples but will likely return with our kids next time. We were blown away with the beauty of the place! A 4x4 car will be needed if you rent a car which is highly recommended.
