I would have given this property 5 stars except there are two things to be aware of: 1) If you have a car, you need to park in one of the garages that are between a .1-.3 mile walk away. "We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly built and maintained by Carlo. It is close enough to Florence for easy day trips - a car is recommended for convenient access to the property, but there is ample free parking in a nearby town to head downtown by bus. "My mom and I loved our stay at the Palazzo Mannaioni in Florence. Roberto made us feel safe the minute we entered the Mannaioni and was very knowledgable of the area and accommodated anything we needed. The suites were in a great location, and the place was pristine. "

Old world elegance and charm

"This elegant and charming hotel is slap bang in the center of Florence. Two minute walk to the Uffizi, one minute fro the statue of Neptune in Relaise Piazza Signora where we sat and watched the world go by. The Duomo was five minutes away. The antiques in the hotel were stunning. The restaurant was very reasonable for a 5 star establishment and the food was first class as was the service. The management went out of their way to help us celebrate a special anniversary ( I won’t say what number but it was substantial!!) The room was spotless and the maid service was very efficient and discrete. It was charming to see the concierge and front of house in proper attire complete with tie AND tailcoat. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was fantastic. "

"We checked into the hotel after we had a poor experience with our BnB. The staff were always welcoming! Beautiful rooms! Very clean and very close to the heart of Florence!!! Breakfast was great!! This hotel made the rest of our stay on Florence very pleasant!!!! Thank you staff, especially Anna! Amazing! "

Perfect stay in Florence

"Hotel Cavour was perfect. It is a luxurious hotel in the heart of Florence. They have an amazing breakfast and the rooftop bar is awesome. It is loud at night and the rooms do not have air conditioning. That said, to keep the room cool I kept the window open but I found it hard to sleep due to outside noise."
