We were able to drive to Lucca, Florence, Pisa, the train to go to Cinque Terra and explore the local area, The location was fantastic. The countryside is just so beautiful. "Happy to recommend Simona's property. An excellent location as a base to visit the surrounding area and beyond...and just to walk out of the door and enjoy walks in the immediate locality. A very comfortable apartment to return to and spend time in... it's a great location in Aquilea. Supermarket close by... and a ' negozio alimentari' and bar in Aquilea ( unfortunately the owners went on holiday the day I arrived, so cannot comment further ). Simona is very helpful re local information and potential sightseeing. "
